Coming to Consciousness

The process of self-actualization is a bit like getting the feeling back in your legs after they’ve fallen asleep. But it’s more like the numbing that wears off after a trip to the dentist, because as happy as you are to finally have the feeling back, there’s also some pain. But the pain wears off eventually, too. And that’s where the healing begins.
